This is part of the EyeCU series of complex photographs using a technique called 'bas relief photography.' An Image is printed on Yupo paper (which doesn't absorb liquid) and then overpainted with impasto, oleopasto and oil paints. The original photograph was taken on a photo safari in East & Central Africa in 2019.
